Who is responsible
Core Edge is operated by Slaytek Systems, which is Matt Slager operating personally in Australia. Questions, complaints, corrections, and deletion requests go to [email protected].
What we collect
- Account details such as your name, email address, login state, and consent records.
- Alpha application answers, feedback, and messages you send us.
- The notes, tasks, projects, people, links, and other content you deliberately put into Core Edge.
- Usage, activity, device, security, and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service.
Why we use it
We use this information to create and secure your account, operate Core Edge, retrieve and organise your content, review alpha access, provide support, understand product usage, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
Product updates are optional. Account, security, and alpha-administration messages are kept separate from marketing wherever practical.
Who receives it
Core Edge currently relies on service providers including Convex, Railway, Resend, Cloudflare Turnstile, and OpenRouter or its selected model providers. They receive only the data needed for hosting, authentication, email, abuse prevention, search, embeddings, summaries, and related operations.
Those providers may process data outside Australia. Their locations, retention practices, and subprocessors can change, because apparently infrastructure enjoys paperwork too.
Your choices
You can ask for access to your account information, corrections, a content export, marketing withdrawal, account closure, or deletion. Some exports are currently partial, and some security records or backups may need to be retained temporarily. We will explain any limitation rather than quietly pretending the button did more than it did.
Retention and complaints
We keep active account data while providing the service. Alpha applications, operational records, and backups are retained only while reasonably needed for operation, security, support, or applicable obligations. Automated retention is still being formalised during alpha.
